YOUR ROLE AT WILDLANDS

We are more than engineers! Our unique team includes a variety of professionals that each play an important part in the work we do. Our team consists of:

ENGINEERS: Our team of engineers develop and manage complex ecosystem restoration projects through the assessment, design, permitting, construction, and post-construction monitoring phases. They are well-versed in stream and wetland design, stormwater management, hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, construction document production, construction management, and project management.

SCIENTISTS: Our scientists are responsible for documenting and monitoring the conditions of our project sites. The data collected on site will then guide and inform our designers as they restore the site back to its natural state. The specific tasks that our scientist perform include stream and general ecological assessments, geomorphic surveys, wetland delineation, endangered and threatened species surveys, vegetation inventory, environmental permit applications, and technical report preparation.

LAND STEWARDS: Our land stewards assist with the overall management of sites. Activities involve supporting the long-term ecological health of project sites through the implementations of tools and techniques which promote the successful establishment of each project’s restoration design.

GIS AND IT PROFESSIONALS: Our technical services team create maps and construction plan sets used by our entire organization.

CONSTRUCTION PERSONNEL: These team members will frequently visit the project site construction is actively in progress. On site, they will oversee construction and work with the construction tram to adjust to field conditions.

REALTORS: Our realtors scout out sites that contain streams and wetlands in need of restoration. Once identified, they work through the contracting phase with the landowners to acquire an easement on the land.

ATTORNEYS: Our in-house legal team is well-versed in corporate law, environmental law, real estate law, contract law, and labor and employment law. This team’s day to day responsibilities include structuring complex real estate transactions, developing and negotiating consulting and subconsultant contracts, preparing construction contracts and change orders, and advising on employment related matters.

SALES AND MARKETING SPECIALISTS: These individuals use a variety of platforms to tell the compelling story of Wildlands’ positive impact on improving the environment. These individuals work closely with the technical staff to develop proposals, creative content for social media, collateral for tradeshows and conferences, and brand development.

ADMINISTRATIVE PROFESSIONALS: Our team of administrative professionals perform various clerical, scheduling, and organizational tasks. These roles are an integral part of each office operating in an efficient manner on a daily basis.
